ENTRANCE GATE UPDATE
As of May 6, 2004, all entrance gates to the Nashua Airport will be closed 24/7. Entrance cards are required for anyone within the security gate area unless they are being escorted by an approved individual.

A reminder to all airport gate users that you are responsible for not allowing anyone to "piggy back" into the secured airport behind your vehicle. It is your responsibility to be sure the gate has closed behind you before proceeding on the field. All vehicles within the gated area must display a Nashua Airport Authority Parking Permit. Vehicles without a Parking Permit are subject to being towed at the owner's expense.

Access cards and Parking Permits are available at the Nashua Airport Authority office located at 93 Perimeter Road.

The Nashua Airport Authority has received confirmation that they have been awarded $2,500,000 under the American and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 for the reconstruction of the Tower Ramp. This project will start in mid June and is scheduled to be completed by the end of summer.

This will close the tower ramp for all vehicular traffic during the construction. Arrangements for fuel trucks to use alpha taxiway will be coordinated with the tower and the FBOs.

The current ramp was constructed in 1973 and is badly in need of reconstruction. The preliminary planning stage is still on-going and I will post a more definite schedule when available. For more information please contact me at 882-0661.

ROTATING BEACON
A new LED rotating beacon has been installed at the Nashua Airport. The new beacon rotates at 12 RPM as opposed to the 6 RPM of the old beacon. Pilots have reported that they were able to pick up the beacon signal 30% further from the airport and that it is really bright and easily identifiable.
